Water ball valves Herkules

Water ball valves Herkules

Operating parameters

  • nominal pressure: 4.0 MPa (40 bar)
  • max. working temperature: 140°C
  • working media: water (water supply systems and central heating), max. 50% glycol solution in water (solar and central heating installations), compressed air
  • Herkules ball valves type V17 have received a National Technical Assessment Certificate issued by the Building Research Institute in Warsaw stating suitability for use in construction and Hygienic Certificate issue

Workmanship and materials

  • bodies and nuts are made of moulded parts and processed by machine tools
  • body material: CW617N brass
  • ball finish: chrome plated, polished
  • ball sealing: PTFE
  • stem sealing: PTFE

Finish

  • all ball valves are sandblast and then nickel-plated
  • on demand they can be coated with chrome or only sandblast

Advantages

  • warranty: 15 years
  • metal handle
  • double stem seal
  • valve bore without any constriction affecting the flow, full port according to standard
  • connection threads with a large number of thread turns provides a secure and tight connection
  • the gland on the stem allows compensation of possible clearance by means of a simple wrench
  • chrome plated and polished ball resistant to blocking
  • thick walls and solid workmanship - increased durability and strength
  • quality control carried out strictly according to applicable European standards
  • 100% of the valves produced are tested for leakage
  • valve’s bodies have permanent markings required by the European standards
  • valves adapted to potable water - surface, which may have contact with water (inside the valve and connection
