Description of the arrangement

Scandi is evolving. It has less and less of the coolness of Scandinavia and more visual warmth and cosiness.

The trend's metamorphosis can be seen in the exemplary kitchen arrangement. Of course, it does not lack the flagship features of the Scandinavian trend. The dominant colour is white, which enhances the impression of spaciousness, and the interior appears even brighter when lit by daylight. The space above the worktops is covered with matt white tiles.

The floor is lined with light-coloured planks with clear knots. The table with wooden top has been matched with white painted ergonomically shaped chairs. In the washing area, there is a Zumba Slim 2F kitchen mixer tap in a black contrasting colour. It is a model with a flexible spout - it can be bent, formed into any shape to reach all the nooks and crannies of the dishes being washed. The functionality of the mixer, as well as its minimalist design, make it a perfect fit with the Scandinavian style.

Despite these typical Scandi features, there is none of the laboratory sterility or coldness that is characteristic of the style. What catches the eye is the solid, dark base of the table, so different from the light, thin legs typical of Scandinavian furniture. The walls and ceiling are joined by... decorative stuccowork. The fronts have delicate milling.

This is an interesting meeting of minimalism and classicism. A continuation of this concept can be seen in the living area, separated by a glass door, with a sofa and soft cushions, a rug, and potted plants.
