Minimalistic shower area
Description of the arrangement
Is it possible to have a comfortable shower without a bathtub and shower tray? Of course it is. An open shower area allows complete freedom of movement without the claustrophobic atmosphere that can be associated with a toilet in a cramped cubicle. In the absence of a shower tray, free drainage is possible thanks to a suitably shaped base and a linear drain. In the arrangement shown, this is an elegant, efficient under-tile drain, the top of which is filled with a cut piece of floor tile.
In this modern, spacious bathroom, the walls have been covered with a grey beige tiling that imitates natural stone. The elegant chrome rain shower and Algeo mixer seem to blend discreetly into the background. The minimalist design of the unit blends in with the style of the entire interior. The only decorative element is the curved bar ending in the overhead shower. The set includes a soap dish, and the shower handle has as many as three different functions. Attention is drawn to the strikingly illuminated recesses which replace shelves for cosmetics. The comfort of use is certainly enhanced by the practical wall-mounted soap holder and the towel rack, which can accommodate towels for the entire family.
.The shower area has been arranged in an alcove, which ensures intimacy, as the rest of the bathroom - with a washbasin and a huge mirror - is bathed in natural light coming in through a ceiling-to-floor window. With access to the sunlight, the room's charm is added by a large, vibrant ficus tree.
