Śląski Klaster Wodny (Silesian Water Cluster) consists of industry, academia, public and financial institutions to joint and multi-faceted measures to protect the environment. The business incubator, bring into existance by the initiative of among others water supply companies as Górnośląskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów S.A. (Upper Silesian Water Supply Company Inc.), local governments units – Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Śląskiego (Marshall Office of Silesia) or universitiy - Politechnika Śląska (Technical University of Silesia) (the full list of founding members can be found on the website of Cluster) set ambitious tasks ahead, not only in area of business and science but it also drive to shape ecological attitudes. Cluster invites subjects with high factor of innovation, characterized by good management concept, clear quality policy and stable market position and recognized brand to cooperation.

FERRO company has been admitted as a member of Śląski Klaster Wodny (Silesia Water Cluster). This membership enables to exchange information on technologies, creating a common path of investment development, introduce new products onto the market and also effective compete on following markets: regional, national and international.

„Mój ŚWIAT jest EKO” („My WORLD is THE ECO”) – under this heading, grand social project of Publikator (Publicator) was established. FERRO Inc. is partner in cooperation of this project. The campaign which was launched in 2/2009 issue of “Świat Łazienek i Kuchni” (“World of Bathrooms and Kitchens”) was designed for people who wish to become involved in the matter of environmental protection, because “each of us can do something for us to live better, healthier and more comfortable simultaneously".

The purpose of this action is to indicate daily eco-minded habits, that each of us can learn and benefits (also financial) that may be the consequence of these habits. Education is moving in the direction of the public believe, that the home-scale ecology does not require any sacrifices and it has a huge impact on the comfort of our lives.

Publisher, who initiates the „Mój ŚWIAT jest EKO” („My WORLD is THE ECO”) project wants to promote the eco-minded lifestyle at various meetings, lectures, conferences, organized in the framework of the action. In the „Świat Łazienek i Kuchni” („The World of Bathrooms and Kitchens”) magazine, there will be articles, tips and experts' opinions, showing new directions and trends in worldwide design. Those will be mainly devoted to all various aspects of ecology in the kitchen and in the bathroom.

The project presents a New koncept of VerdeLine mixer, which is an ideal way to show how you can easily and effectively foster the environment by limiting the water and energy consumption in your own household. Thus, together with Publikator (Publicator), it encourages consumers to make conscious and eco-minded choices.
